Our Cadott Elementary students gathered for an exciting all-school assembly where we introduced the new skill they’ll be focusing on next month: resiliency. This important trait will help our students learn how to overcome challenges, stay positive, and keep trying, even when things get tough. ✨💪
We were also treated to a wonderful performance by our students, showcasing what they’ve been learning in music class. They sang "I Can Do Things" by Stephanie Leavell, a perfect song to kick off our focus on resiliency.
It was a great day of learning and celebration, and we can’t wait to continue building important skills with our students in the weeks to come! 🤍

With nearly 100 colleges, universities, technical colleges, military branches, and trade programs to connect with, they gathered valuable insights to help shape their futures. These 5th grade #CadottHORNETS 🐝 put their engineering skills to the test! They've been learning about how engineers ask critical questions and collaborate 🫱🏽🫲🏼 with their peers to protect our communities from natural disasters. 🌪️🌍
In a hands-on experiment, students were challenged to design and build structures that could withstand an earthquake. Who knows? One of these future engineers might just help save the day in real-life! 🦸🏽♂️

Students in the Cadott Drama Club got a sneak peek of what it’s like to work behind the scenes at The Pablo Center in Eau Claire. ✨
They got to check out the scene shop, recording studio, dressing rooms, costume shop, backstage of the RCU stage, star rooms, UWEC theater classrooms, 🎭robotics studio, 🤖and several art galleries! 🎨

Our talented second and third graders have been putting their creativity and hard work to the test this summer! They dove into the world of geodesic domes, learning how these fascinating structures are made from triangles. Throughout the week, they rolled newspapers into struts, meticulously measured and cut them to length, and proudly assembled their very own domes. 🏗️📰
Our school library is now filled with these impressive domes, showcasing the dedication and teamwork of our students.
Next week, they will be opening up their domes to invite other groups to come in, read, or enjoy some games inside these unique creations. 🤩

From the stunning sights of Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, and London to iconic landmarks like the Palace of Versailles, Anne Frank Museum, Dutch windmills, Eiffel Tower, and Big Ben, they experienced it all. 🤩
Despite averaging only five hours of sleep each night, they mastered the art of micronaps on buses, trains, metros, and trams! 🚌🚆💤 The memories they made exploring the world were truly incredible! 🌟🗺️🛏️
