Our outgoing fourth graders kicked off an exciting new tradition—a trip to Madison! They explored the Capitol, the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, and the Henry Villas Zoo, making memories that will last a lifetime. 🔔

Cadott middle and high school students embarked on an exciting journey as part of the inaugural Wisconsin Ag and You Trips, exploring aquaculture and natural resources firsthand! 🐟🌿
Their adventure took them to the Iron River National Fish Hatchery, the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center, and the UW-Stevens Point Demonstration Facility, where they gained valuable insights into sustainable practices.
A special thank you to the UW-Stevens Point Facility for their generous donation of an inline chiller! This new addition will allow us to expand our fish-raising efforts to include arctic char, providing students with even more hands-on learning opportunities. 🌊🎉

➕✨ Math Olympiad ✨➕
Several students from Cadott Elementary took on the 2024-2025 Math Olympiad, a prestigious contest spanning all fifty states, three U.S. territories, and thirty foreign countries. With 4,077 teams and nearly 90,000 participants, our students demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
Under the expert coaching of Angela Kent, students completed five monthly contests and attended weekly practice sessions, building their ability to tackle challenging math problems.
National Recognition for Our Mathletes:
🌟Mikayla P. earned a blue pin, placing in the top 10% worldwide—an incredible achievement
🌟10 students received awards in Division E (grades 4-6), with several earning embroidered felt patches for ranking in the top 50% globally— Mikayla P., Sydney Kulesa, Zach Sikora, Aaron Much, William Wellner, Ethan Acker, Joey Ritger, Alaina Rykal, Kamren Schuebel, and Oliver Slagle

Our High School Staff felt the love earlier this month!💛
During Teacher Appreciation Week, our amazing staff was treated to delicious meals each day of the week! Monday Breakfast, Tuesday Tacos, Wednesday Snacks, Thursday Soup, and Friday Pizza! This amazing spread was generously provided by a wonderful group of parents who went above and beyond!
But the kindness didn’t stop there!
🍪 Our Junior High Student Council baked sweet treats, served up pizza, and even organized a fun raffle with prizes!
🥤 FCCLA went the extra mile by delivering drinks and goodies to staff throughout the week.
We are truly grateful for the outpouring of appreciation from our school community. Thank you for making our staff feel so loved and valued! 💐👏

Our annual Valley Fair Trills and Thrills Music Festival field trip was a fantastic experience! ✨ We had the opportunity to perform for two seasoned adjudicators, who awarded us a superior rating—the highest possible honor.
Despite the chilly, rainy weather, we made the most of our time celebrating at Valley Fair before heading to the Mall of America early for dinner and shopping. A well-earned celebration for a well-earned achievement! 👏🏻

Our 5th graders had an unforgettable afternoon exploring creativity and teamwork in the Cadott school forest! Students kicked off the day by tie-dyeing shirts for Field Day, creating colorful designs to show off their school spirit.
Next came the ultimate challenge: constructing shelters for their mini person that could withstand a “heavy rainstorm.” With teamwork and problem-solving, students put their engineering skills to the test!
It was an afternoon full of fun, laughter, and hands-on learning in the great outdoors! 🍃✨
