Important Update: Temporary Closure of the Cadott Fitness Center

Dear Cadott Community,

We are writing to provide an update regarding an incident at the Fitness Center. Recently, a mechanical line burst, resulting in a glycol leak that flooded the facility.

We have already taken several steps to ensure the space is restored to a safe and high-quality environment for our members:

Professional Cleaning: Industrial cleaning experts have been on-site to manage the initial cleanup.
Equipment & Flooring: Unfortunately, due to the nature of the leak, the flooring and several pieces of equipment were damaged beyond repair and will need to be replaced.
Safety Inspections: We have engaged CESA 10 to complete a full incident report and conduct post-remediation indoor air quality testing. This testing will monitor humidity levels, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), and other safety metrics to ensure the air is clean and safe for exercise.

Timeline for Reopening

At this time, we do not have a firm reopening date. Given the extent of the repairs and the lead time for new equipment, it is likely the Fitness Center will remain closed for up to one month or longer.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to make the Fitness Center better and safer than ever. We will continue to keep the community updated as repairs progress.
