On Dec. 15, the girls attended the Dells Dual Tournament, and out of 47 teams, the girls placed third; York took first with five pins, Sonnentag placed second, junior Abby Moss took third, Freshman Liberty Faber took fifth, and junior Kaylee Reineke and sophomore Kaylee Stai both placed sixth. Over winter break, the girls headed to the Alliant Energy Center for the Badger State Wrestling tournament, where the team placed fifth out of 57 teams, and Sonnentag placed second, and Reineke and York both placed fourth. Coming off of strong matches, the girls headed to the Northern Badger Invitational along with 38 other teams. All six Cadott wrestlers who competed placed in the top eight. Varsity boys competed at the Ellsworth Invitational on Dec. 8, where freshman Wyatt Anderson and senior Mitchell Reineke each took fourth, and junior Jon Phelps, senior Monte Lodahl, and freshman Jacob Phelps all took fifth place.
